E.J. Manuel (16-of-21 for 134 yards) tossed an interception in the fourth quarter and Georgia State moved the ball to near midfield in a final push.

But Florida State defensive back Karlos Williams picked off Yellow Jackets quarterback Tevin Washington to secure the victory.

Washington was held to 76 passing yards on 4-of-14 efficiency and ran for a score for Georgia Tech (6-7), which was appearing in the conference title match due to the NCAA suspension of Miami-Florida.
