COL FB: Washington 20, Oregon State 17

SEATTLE, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Travis Coons' 30-yard field goal with 1:20 left in the game Saturday boosted Washington to a 20-17 upset over No. 9 Oregon State.

Coons' kick came at the end of an eight-play, 63-yard drive engineered by Keith Price, highlighted by a 19-yard completion to Kasen Williams at the Oregon State 18-yard line on third-and-7.

Price went 18-of-30 for 194 passing yards and an interception, while Williams finished with five grabs en route to 61 yards for the Huskies (4-4, 2-3 Pac-12).

The Beavers (6-1, 4-1 Pac-12) had forged a 17-17 tie in the fourth quarter when Cody Vaz hooked up with Connor Hamlett on a 29-yard scoring pass.

Vaz (7-for-11, 97 yards) relieved OSU starter Sean Mannion, who was benched after surrendering four interceptions.
