MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Alabama remains the unanimous No. 1 team in the USA Today Coaches poll ahead of Oregon and Florida moves into the third spot.
Alabama (7-0) pulled in all 59 first-place votes for the second consecutive week. Oregon (7-0) actually lost poll support while Florida (7-0) edged past Kansas State (7-0) and into third place.
Florida defeated last week's No. 8 South Carolina 44-11 while Kansas State went on the road and won 55-14 at West Virginia, which two weeks ago was ranked fourth. South Carolina (6-2) drops eight spots and West Virginia (5-2) seven in the biggest falls this week.
Notre Dame (7-0) remains fifth, followed again by No. 6 Louisiana State (7-1) and seventh-ranked Oklahoma (5-1). Notre Dame is at Oklahoma in this week's marquee game.

Southern California (6-1) moves to eighth, with Oregon State (6-0) cracking the Top 10 at ninth and Florida State (7-1) in at No. 10.
Georgia (6-1) improves to 11th while Mississippi State (7-0) is up four to 12th. Only one team (Michigan, up five) makes a bigger move up. Clemson (6-1) and Louisville (7-0) are again 13th and 14th while Rutgers (7-0) is up two places to 15th.
South Carolina drops from eighth to No. 16 but Texas Tech (6-1) is up three rungs to 17th, with Boise State (6-1) and Stanford (5-2) both jumping four places to 18th and 19th, respectively. Michigan (5-2) is up to No. 20.
Texas A&M (6-2) is down two to 21st ahead of West Virginia, which is 22nd. No. 23 Ohio (7-0), 24th-ranked Texas (5-2) and 25th Wisconsin (6-2) were unranked last week.
Dropping out of the Top 25 this week are Cincinnati, Texas Christian and Arizona State.
Three of the four top teams face ranked teams: Alabama playing host to Mississippi State, Florida playing Georgia in Jacksonville, Fla., and Kansas State meeting Texas Tech in Manhattan, Kan. Kansas State is facing its third consecutive ranked opponent.
