COL FB: Rutgers 35, Temple 10

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Gary Nova threw for four touchdowns in the second half to rally undefeated No. 17 Rutgers to a 35-10 win over Temple.

Rutgers (7-0, 4-0 Big East) -- which trailed 10-0 at the intermission -- scored all of its points in the second half, including a 19-yard return of a fumble by Khaseem Greene to close out the scoring.

Nova was 17-of-27 for 232 yards, including 176 yards in the second half. Jawan Jamison ran the ball 19 times for 114 yards and had five catches for 81 yards and a third-quarter TD that put the Scarlet Knights in front 14-10.

Monte Harris led Temple (3-3, 2-1) with 82 yards on 19 carries. Chris Coyer ended the day 7-of-14 for 65 yards and a touchdown.

The Owls averaged 2.8 yards per rushing attempt and committed three turnovers.
