GAINESVILLE, Fla., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Jeff Driskel fired four scoring passes Saturday and fourth-ranked Florida stayed unbeaten with a 44-11 rout of No. 8 South Carolina in a key conference clash.
Driskel was efficient, needing to complete just 11-of-16 passes for 93 yards while sparking the Gators (7-0, 6-0 SEC) to a 21-6 at halftime lead.

Florida's defense provided the opportunities by recovering three South Carolina fumbles -- each of which was turned into a touchdown.
The victory gave the Gators the inside track to an SEC Eastern Division title.
Dylan Thompson and Connor Shaw split time behind center for the Gamecocks (6-2, 4-2), combining to go 17-of-40 through the air for 155 yards and an interception.
