Bolden's decisive catch with 5:48 remaining was set up by a 43-yard pass from Davis to Dominique Sullivan and a 19-yard strike to William Spight.

Nevada tried to regain the lead but on fourth-and-1 at midfield with nearly 4 minutes left, the Golden Eagles stopped Mark for no gain.

Southern Miss then produced three more first downs to run out the clock.
