WACO, Texas, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Robert Griffin III passed for three touchdowns and rushed for two more Saturday, propelling 18th-ranked Baylor past Texas 48-24.
Griffin helped his Heisman Trophy credentials with the performance in the regular-season finales for both teams, racking up 320 aerial yards with one interception on 15-of-22 passing efficiency.

Baylor (9-3, 6-3 Big 12) achieved its first nine-win season since 1986.
Texas (7-5, 4-5), meanwhile, closed out a disappointing season with a loss despite three touchdown passes from Case McCoy.
The Longhorns signal-caller was also picked off four times and lost a fumble.
