WACO, Texas, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Robert Griffin III hurled three TD passes and gained 78 yards on the ground Saturday in 24th-ranked Baylor's 48-0 storm-shortened rout of Stephen F. Austin.
Griffin went 20-of-22 through the air for 247 yards and ran the ball eight times for the Bears (2-0), who won big two weeks after posting a 50-48 win over defending Rose Bowl champion Texas Christian.
Kendall Wright grabbed eight passes for 105 yards and a touchdown while Terrance Ganaway racked up 98 yards and a score on nine carries for Baylor, which played a home game as a ranked team for the first time since 1991.
The Lumberjacks (1-2) lost their second straight as Brady Attaway connected on only 8-of-13 passes for 101 yards and an interception.
Lightning and bad weather in the Fort Worth, Texas, area prompted school officials to end the game with 3 minutes to play in the third quarter.
