COL BKB: Oregon 107, Western Carolina 83

EUGENE, Ore., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Joseph Young and Mike Moser combined for 62 points Wednesday and No. 18 Oregon blew things open in the second half for a 107-83 win over Western Carolina.

The Ducks had only a two-point lead at intermission, but scored 66 in the second period to win their second game in as many tries this season. Western Carolina had captured its first two outings of the campaign.

Young made 9-of-12 from the field, three of them being 3-pointers, and hit 15-of-16 from the line while scoring 36 points. Moser had five rebounds along with his 26 points.

Oregon shot an overwhelming 65 percent from the field and converted 8-of-14 from 3-point range.

The Catamounts were led by Trey Sumler's 29 points.
