PISCATAWAY, N.J., March 5 (UPI) -- Vander Blue popped in 22 points Tuesday and No. 17 Marquette rallied for a 60-54 victory over Rutgers.

Junior Cadougan and Jamil Wilson added 10 each as the Golden Eagles (22-7, 13-4 Big East) rebounded from a 10-point halftime deficit to reel off a third straight win.

The victory enabled Marquette to pull within a half-game of Big East-leading Georgetown with one regular-season game remaining.

The Scarlet Knights (13-15, 4-13) got a combined 21 points from Myles Mack and Jerome Seagears in the loss.
