COL BKB: Georgetown 64, Rutgers 51

WASHINGTON, March 2 (UPI) -- Otto Porter Jr. went 15-of-18 from the free-throw line on his way to 28 points Saturday and eighth-ranked Georgetown posted a 64-51 win over Rutgers.

Markel Starks and D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera added nine points each as the Hoyas (23-4, 13-3 Big East) recorded their 11th straight win.

Georgetown used the victory to hold onto a one-game lead atop the Big East and clinch a double-bye in the upcoming conference championship tournament.

Rutgers (13-14, 4-12) was paced by Wally Judge with 11 points.
