COL BKB: Murray St. 75, SE Missouri St. 66

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Donte Poole scored 25 points Wednesday in boosting No. 14 Murray State to its third straight Ohio Valley title with a 75-66 win over Southeast Missouri.

The Racers won their second game in a row after Tennessee State handed them their first loss of the season.

Murray State improved to 13-1 in the Ohio Valley with two league games remaining, eliminating Tennessee State (11-4) from contention. One of the two conference games left for the Racers will be at Tennessee State, which has a chance to sweep Murray State and still not win the league crown.

The Racers limited Southeast Missouri to 37 percent shooting and forced 15 turnovers.

Ivan Aska added 14 points and nine rebounds for Murray State, which is 25-1 for the season.

Leon Powell led the Redhawks (14-12, 9-5) with 13 points and eight rebounds.
