COL BKB: Seton Hall 75, Connecticut 63

NEWARK, N.J., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Jordan Theodore's 19 points and 11 assists Tuesday helped Seton Hall upend eighth-ranked Connecticut 75-63 in its first win over the Huskies since 2001.

Herb Pope notched 15 points and Fuquan Edwin registered a double-double with 12 with 11 rebounds as the Pirates (13-2, 2-1 Big East) won their second straight conference contest.

The loss spelled the end of a seven-game winning streak for Connecticut (12-2, 2-1).

Jeremy Lamb led UConn with 19 points and Niels Giffey added 11 for the Huskies.
