COL BKB: Syracuse 80, Bucknell 61

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Kris Joseph and Scoop Jardine teamed up for 31 points Tuesday and top-ranked Syracuse rolled over Bucknell 80-61.

Joseph put in 17 points, Jardine added 14 and Rakeem Christmas scored 10 for the Orange, who started the season with 12 consecutive wins for the third straight year.

Fab Melo added eight points and nine rebounds for Syracuse, which jumped out to an 11-4 lead and never looked back.

The Bison (7-5) were led by Mike Muscala with 14 points and seven rebounds. Ben Brackney chipped in with 11 points and Joe Willman added 10 points and five assists for Bucknell.
