LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. comedian and actor Billy Crystal is set to return to the big-screen after a six-year absence in the movie "Tooth Fairy."

Crystal, who has starred in the films "When Harry Met Sally," "City Slickers" and "America's Sweethearts," has not been appeared in a live-action movie since he co-starred with Robert De Niro in the 2002 comedy "Analyze That."

Variety.com said he has signed on to join the cast of "Tooth Fairy," a Michael Lembeck-directed comedy scheduled to start shooting Monday in Vancouver.

The film is about a hockey player sentenced to work a week as the Tooth Fairy after damaging his colleagues' dental work. It also stars Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Judd, Julie Andrews, Stephen Merchant and Ryan Sheckler, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
