Feds link Illinois governor to cover-up

CHICAGO, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Federal prosecutors Thursday were close-mouthed about any possible indictment of Gov. George Ryan in the political corruption scandal that has dogged his administration. Prosecutors alleged in a 76-page document that Ryan knew his aides were shredding campaign documents in 1998.
