Washington Capitals F Evgeny Kuznetsov fined for embellishment

Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov was fined $2,000 for embellishment, the NHL announced Thursday.

The fine is for an incident during a game against the New Jersey Devils on Dec. 29.

Kuznetsov had been warned for a diving offense earlier this season in October and a second incident calls for a fine.
