SAN DIEGO, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Xavier Thames totaled 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists Saturday, lifting No. 11 San Diego State over Nevada-Las Vegas 63-52.

Josh Davis provided 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Aztecs (16-1, 5-0 MWC), who notched a 15th straight win following their lone loss Nov. 14 to Arizona.

Winston Shepard helped out with eight points and nine rebounds.

UNLV (11-7, 2-3) was led by Bryce Dejean-Jones with 15 points, but he went 0-for-7 from 3-point range.
