WICHITA, Kan., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Fred VanVleet nailed 7-of-10 shots from the floor en route to 22 points Tuesday and No. 5 Wichita State stayed unbeaten with a 72-50 rout of Bradley.
Darius Carter added 11 points for the Shockers (18-0, 5-0 MVC), who equaled their best-ever start in conference play dating to 1964-65.

Wichita State earned the win despite subpar performances from leading scorers Cleanthony Early and Ron Baker, who managed a combined 13 points.
Bradley (6-12, 1-4) was led by Walt Lemon Jr. with 12 points.
