AMES, Iowa, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Naadir Tharpe netted 23 points and Andrew Wiggins had a double-double for 18th-ranked Kansas Monday in the Jayhawks' 77-70 win over No. 10 Iowa State.
Wiggins provided 17 points with 19 rebounds and Joel Embiid added 16 points, nine rebounds and five blocks as Kansas (12-4, 3-0 Big 12) notched a third straight win.

The Cyclones (14-2, 2-2) got 21 points, eight rebounds, and four steals from DeAndre Kane but couldn't avoid their second consecutive loss following a 14-0 start.
Melvin Ejim (15 points) and Dustin Hogue (13, nine rebounds) also reached double figures.
