Andrew Wiggins scored 12 points for the Jayhawks, who played their first home game since Nov. 22.

Markel Starks scored 19 points for Georgetown (7-3), who had their six-game winning streak snapped.

The Hoyas made a bid for a comeback early in the second half after Kansas' second-leading scorer, Perry Ellis, left the game after being elbowed in the head. Georgetown cut the Kansas lead to 46-38, but the Jayhawks regained their footing and responded with a 10-0 run that put them back in control.
