EUGENE, Ore., Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Oregon's Mike Moser supplied 14 points and nine rebounds Saturday and the 11th-ranked Ducks continued their strong start with a 71-64 win over Illinois.

Johnathan Loyd contributed 11 points and seven rebounds as Oregon (9-0) extended its best start since 2006-07, when the Ducks went 13-0 to kick off the season.

Joseph Young helped out with 14 points and Elgin Cook had 12.

The Fighting Illini (9-2) were led by Ryvonte Rice and Tracy Abrams with 16 points each.
