COL BKB: Syracuse 92, California 81

LAHAINA, Hawaii, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Jerami Grant pumped in 19 points and ignited a second-half surge Tuesday, sending No. 7 Syracuse over California 92-81 at the Maui Invitational.

With the Orange trailing 60-57 midway through the second half, Grant supplied a two-handed dunk to trigger a decisive 11-2 run.

He also grabbed eight rebounds while freshman Tyler Ennis contributed a team-high 28 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals as Syracuse (6-0) advanced to the finals of the Hawaii tournament.

Justin Cobbs recorded 18 points with eight assists and five rebounds for the Golden Bears (5-1).

Jabari Bird netted 17 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and David Kravish added 15 for California.
