COL BKB: Miami (Fla.) 87, N. Carolina 61

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Shane Larkin drained 5-of-8 three-point tries en route to 18 points Saturday and No. 11 Miami-Florida routed North Carolina 87-61.

Kenny Kadji and Durand Scott each provided 17 points for the Hurricanes (19-3, 10-0 ACC), who connected on 15-of-26 from long range overall and remained the only major college team yet to be beaten in conference play.

Rion Brown came off the bench to add 11 points as Miami swept its season's series from the Tar Heels for the first time in school history.

North Carolina (16-7, 6-4) had a three-game winning streak snapped. Reggie Bullock led the Tar Heels with 14 points and eight rebounds.
