INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Jack Cooley and Eric Atkins combined for 35 points Saturday, elevating No. 24 Notre Dame over Purdue 81-68 at Indianapolis.

Cooley scored 18 points and hauled down nine rebounds, while Atkins put in 17 to go with seven assists and three steals for the Fighting Irish (9-1), who reeled off their seventh straight win.

Pat Connaughton chipped in 16 points for Notre Dame.

The Boilermakers (4-6) got 21 points from Rapheal Davis.
