COL BKB: Temple 80, Fordham 60

NEW YORK, March 3 (UPI) -- Juan Fernandez scored 19 points for No. 25 Temple, which clinched the Atlantic 10 regular-season title Saturday with an 80-60 win over Fordham.

Ramone Moore added 16 points, six assists and four steals for the Owls (24-6, 13-3 A-10), who took their first outright A-10 crown since 1989-90.

Khalif Wyatt contributed 10 points, seven assists, five rebounds and two steals as Temple scored at a 52.5-percent clip to nail down its 13th win in 14 games to close out the regular season.

The Rams (10-19, 3-13) were led by Chris Gaston's 18 points and nine rebounds.
