COL BKB: Kentucky 79, Georgia 49

LEXINGTON, Ky., March 1 (UPI) -- Darius Miller highlighted Kentucky's 3-point barrage Thursday and the No. 1 Wildcats coasted to a 79-49 blasting of Georgia.

Kentucky made 15-of-27 attempts from 3-point range and hit five in a row during the second half while building as much as a 38-point lead.

Miller had five 3-pointers and scored 17 points to lead Kentucky, which has won 21 straight since its only loss of the season, Dec. 10 at Indiana.

Doron Lamb added 13 points for Kentucky (29-1, 15-0 Southeastern Conference). The Wildcats, who ran away with the regular-season conference championship this year, will close the campaign Sunday at Florida and then will take the No. 1 seed into the SEC Tournament in New Orleans.

Kentucky's first appearance in that tournament will come March 9.

Donte Williams scored 17 for Georgia (13-16, 4-11), which managed only 19 points in the first half and lost for the fourth time in five games.
