MANHATTAN, Kan., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Rodney McGruder connected on 4-of-4 shots from long range en route to 14 points Saturday in 25th-ranked Kansas State's 82-46 rout of Howard.
Will Spradling added a trio of 3-pointers and finished with 13 points for the Wildcats (11-1), who tuned up for their Big 12 Conference opener against arch-rival Kansas with an easy non-conference win.

Angel Rodriguez (11 points) was 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Jeremy Jones and Jamar Samuels added 10 points each for Kansas State, which went 13-of-27 from long range.
Glenn Andrews scored 25 points, going 6-of-16 from 3-point territory for the Bison (4-11).
