COL BKB: Rutgers 85, Florida 83 (2OT)

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Myles Mack's clutch 3-pointer with 61 seconds left in the second overtime Thursday boosted Rutgers to an 85-83 upset of No. 10 Florida.

The 3-point shot from Mack gave Rutgers a four-point lead and the Scarlet Knights survived an attempt at the buzzer by Erving Walker to force a third overtime.

Rutgers scored the final points in both regulation and the first extra period. Dane Miller made a layup to forge a 66-66 tie with 46 seconds left in the second half and Eli Carter's 3-pointer with 20 seconds to go in the first overtime created a 76-76 deadlock.

Carter made 12-of-24 shots from the field and scored 31 points to lead Rutgers (8-5).

Kenny Boynton had 26 for the Gators (10-3), who attempted 27 3-point shots and made nine of them.

Florida had won five in a row since losing to Syracuse Dec. 2. The Gators' other setback this season came against Ohio State.
