TULSA, Okla., Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Doug McDermott went 16-of-23 from the field en route to 35 points Monday, powering 21st-ranked Creighton to an 83-64 win over Tulsa.
McDermott, who ranks second in the nation in scoring, hauled down seven rebounds and Antoine Young contributed 14 points and five steals for the Bluejays (9-1).

Grant Gibbs added nine points, 10 assists and seven rebounds as Creighton won a second straight following a Dec. 10 loss to Saint Joseph's.
The Golden Hurricane (5-7) lost despite 14 points each from Jordan Clarkson and Tim Peete.
