COLUMBIA, S.C., Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Deshaun Thomas tallied 30 points Saturday to lead second-ranked Ohio State past South Carolina 74-66.
The Buckeyes (10-1) rallied in the second half to win their second consecutive game despite losing star forward Jared Sullinger to a foot injury.

Sullinger limped into the locker room after being kicked early in the second half. X-rays did not reveal any bone fractures.
Sullinger ended the game with only three points; however, William Buford came through with 17 and Lenzelle Smith had 9 points and 9 rebounds.
Malik Cooke led South Carolina (4-6) with 21 points and Anthony Gill scored 11.
The Gamecocks led 33-29 at halftime but Ohio State erupted for 45 in the second half.
