COL BKB: Wisconsin 60, Milwaukee 54

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Jared Berggren scored 17 points and Ryan Evans added 16 Tuesday, elevating 15th-ranked Wisconsin to a 60-54 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Berggren grabbed nine rebounds and Evans added eight boards, helping the Badgers (9-2) nail down their third straight victory.

Jordan Taylor chipped in with 14 points for Wisconsin, which shot 44 percent from the field in the first half and then had to hold off a late Milwaukee rally.

A Kaylon Williams layup with just over a minute left cut the Panthers' deficit to three points at 55-52, but Taylor responded with a trey following a timeout and the Badgers went on to post the victory.

Tony Meier netted 15 points to lead Milwaukee (8-3).
