COL BKB: Wisconsin 70, Wis.-Green Bay 42

MADISON, Wis., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Jordan Taylor led a Wisconsin rush late in the first half Wednesday and the No. 16 Badgers rolled over Wisconsin-Green Bay 70-42.

Wisconsin won its first seven games of the season, but then lost back-to-back contests to North Carolina and Marquette before ending the skid against the Phoenix.

The Badgers scored only 10 points during the opening 10 minutes and trailed by one, but then finished off the half on a 23-10 run to take control.

Taylor scored 15 points and had 10 assists. Ryan Evans added 14 points for Wisconsin and Jared Berggren had 13.

Alex Brown delivered 10 points for Green Bay (4-5), which had won its previous two games.

Wisconsin held Green Bay to 32 percent shooting.
