Advertisement "Fred Durst's Reality Check Mix" of "What's Going On" features vocals by Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction and Porno For Pyros, Elijah Blue and Bono backed in part by Limp Bizkit drummer John Otto and bassist Sam Rivers, and Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch. The song is one of seven superstar mixes appearing on a special CD (on Columbia Records) that hits stores Oct. 30. Sales will benefit the September 11th Fund of the United Way, Artists Against AIDS Worldwide, The Global AIDS Alliance, and other charities. "My Sacrifice" is the band's first new material since its 10-times-platinum album "Human Clay" was released. Creed's Mark Tremonti and Scott Stapp wrote the song. Advertisement The new CD, titled "Weathered," is scheduled to reach stores Nov. 20. MARIAH CAREY Mariah Carey has another gold record --- the 18th of her career. "Loverboy" is the first single from the "Glitter" soundtrack, her Virgin Records America label debut. The album itself entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at No. 6, marking Mariah's eighth consecutive top-10 album debut. The next release from the "Glitter" soundtrack is "Don't Stop," which features rapper Mystikal. A video for "Don't Stop" was recently shot in and around New Orleans. "Glitter" -- Carey's film debut --- opened nationwide last month. CYPRESS HILL Cypress Hill has a new album coming out Dec. 4. "Stoned Raiders" (on Columbia Records) is the altera-rap band's first full-length studio outing since 2000's platinum-selling "Skull & Bones" and its first album since last year's "Live At The Fillmore." The CD features guest appearances by Kurupt, MC Ren & King Tee, Redman & Method Man, and Kokane. Also appearing on "Stoned Raiders' are Fear Factory's Christian Olde Wolbers, Andy Zambrano and Jeremy Fleener of SX-10. Two singles and videos will be simultaneously released to different radio formats on Oct. 23. "Trouble" will impact Alternative and Rock Radio while "Lowrider" will hit Urban, Crossover and Rap Radio. Advertisement (Web sites: cypressonline.com, columbiarecords.com) 'BENEFIT CONCERT' Sheryl Crow and No Doubt's Gwen Stefani have been added to the all-star line-up of artists who'll perform a Motown musical revue as part of this year's City of Hope Spirit of Life Award dinner. The event --- being held next Thursday on the Universal Studios backlot -- honors Vivendi Universal Executive Vice Chairman Edgar Bronfman, Jr. Proceeds will establish an honorary research fellowship in Bronfman's honor at the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute. Other artists already announced include India.Arie, Mary J. Blige, Jon Bon Jovi, Roger Daltrey, Melissa Etheridge, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Jonny Lang, Shelby Lynne, Smokey Robinson, Richie Sambora, Sisqo and The Temptations.
