NEW YORK, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Jamie Lee Curtis has nothing but praise for her Scream Queens co-stars.

The 57-year-old actress, who plays Dean Cathy Munsch on the Fox series, lauded Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin and Keke Palmer this week ahead of the show's Season 2 premiere.

"Every one of these girls is an accomplished writer, thinker, performer, crafter, brander, designer, artist. They all have albums, they have books," Curtis said at a Q&A for her new children's book, This is Me, on Monday.

"They are a wildly talented bunch of young women who put this whole idea that millennials are somehow slackers way out of the discussion," she added. "Every one of these girls, from Lea Michele to Emma Roberts to Abby Breslin to Keke Palmer, all of them."

Michele, Roberts, Breslin and Palmer portray Hester, Chanel, Libby and Zayday on Scream Queens, respectively. Curtis also praised the horror-comedy series' writing while appearing on Tuesday's episode of the Today show.

"I have never had great writing," she said. "I've done work in my life that has not been known for its great writing. To be able to do a TV show that is based on hilarious social commentary, brilliant performances, is a dream come true."
