LOS ANGELES, July 21 (UPI) -- Mandy Moore and ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama reunited Wednesday in Los Angeles. The 32-year-old actress and 36-year-old actor had a surprise run-in at the Paramount Studios lot. Moore was filming NBC's new series This is Us, while Valderrama was shooting CBS staple NCIS.

"Sometimes you get to work on the same lot as your friends and you can run over, catch up and watch them continue to be a bad-[expletive] (in real life and on TV)," Moore captioned a photo with the actor.
"Love this guy. Friends for over 16 years," she added. "Congrats on @ncis.cbs, @wilmervalderrama! Can't wait to watch you this fall!"
Valderrama followed up by posting another sweet picture from the pair's reunion. The actor also hyped Moore's new project, telling fans, "Word in the street is she rocks the screen on her show!"
"A Paramount Studios moment. When one of the most special people just so happens to be shooting her show @nbcthisus at the same lot you're shooting @ncis_cbs. Love you Mandela!" he wrote.
Moore and Valderrama dated from 2000 to 2002 and previously reunited in October. The actress finalized her divorce from Ryan Adams in June, the same month Valderrama split from Demi Lovato.
Moore and Milo Ventimiglia will play a couple expecting twins on NBC's This is Us, which premieres in the fall. Valderrama will portray a "charismatic loose cannon" field agent in NCIS Season 14.
