HBO releases trailer for 'Looking: The Movie'

WASHINGTON, June 21 (UPI) -- HBO shared a trailer for Looking: The Movie, the film finale to the canceled 2014 television series.

The trailer shows series star Jonathan Groff, who portrays lead character Patrick, returning to San Francisco to attend a wedding.

"Looking: The Movie wraps up the story of three close friends living in San Francisco who explore the options available to a new generation of gay men seeking fulfillment in love and life," a synopsis of the film states.

The film will premier on HBO on July 23 to provide a conclusion to the series, which was canceled after two seasons.
