LOS ANGELES, March 2 (UPI) -- Actress Jennifer Garner read Adam Mansbach's comedic, NSFW children's book Go the [Expletive] to Sleep aloud as part of one of her first interviews since her breakup with Ben Affleck.

The actress partnered with with Vanity Fair to produce a video of herself reading the uncensored book, which includes lines like, "The eagles who soar through the sky are at rest / and the creatures who crawl run and creep / I know you're not thirsty, that's [expletive,] stop lying / Lie the [expletive] down my darling, and sleep."

Garner, mother to three children of her own, reclined on a chaise by a pool in the video, feigning a smile and tenderness as she read through the story of frustration.

Mansbach's best-selling book sparked the development of a G-rated version for parents to actually read to their children titled, Seriously, Just Go to Sleep as well as a sequel, You Have to [Expletive] Eat.

Despite announcing their divorce eight months ago, Garner and estranged husband Ben Affleck were reportedly vacationing with Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady in Montana ahead of the 88th annual Academy Awards.

"Jen and Ben weren't lovey-dovey at all, but were super friendly and happy, relaxed. They were both attentive to their kids and laughing with Tom and Gisele," a source said about the duo and parents to Violet, 10, Sera, 7 and Sam, 3.
