The 18-year-old added five points (four goals, one assist) in five playoff games as the team went on to win the Le Mat Trophy as Swedish Hockey League champions.

Andersson would complete an interesting hat trick by becoming the third member of his family to reach the NHL.

His father, Niklas, recorded 82 points (29 goals 53 assists) in 164 games over six seasons with six teams. His uncle, Mikael, collected 264 points (95 goals, 169 assists) in 761 career contests over 15 seasons with five teams.
