Pittsburgh Penguins forward Patric Hornqvist will return to lineup for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night against the Nashville Predators after missing six games with an upper-body injury.

Penguins coach Mike Sullivan made the announcement after the optional morning skate Monday, confirming that the 30-year-old Swede would be back and was 100 percent healthy.

"I don't think we ease anybody into the lineup," Sullivan told reporters. "When our guys go into the lineup, they're ready to play. Period."

Hornqvist, a former member of the Predators, did not participate in Monday's optional skate but practiced Sunday. Sullivan did not indicate who would sit to make room for Hornqvist in the lineup.

Hornqvist has not played since Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Ottawa Senators. He has seven points (four goals, three assists) in 13 playoff games.

On the injury front for the Predators, center Mike Fisher, the team's captain, may also play in Game 1 after missing the last two games of the Western Conference Final.

"Yeah, I feel good," Fisher said Sunday. "Ready to rock. Excited about Game 1. Can't wait."

Fisher took a knee to the head from Anaheim Ducks defenseman Josh Manson late in Game 4 on May 18. He came onto the ice after the Predators clinched the series following a Game 6 win, and resumed skating with the Predators on Thursday.
