April 21 (UPI) -- The Nashville Predators are dissing the doubters after pulling off its first-round upset against the Chicago Blackhawks Thursday at Bridgestone Arena.

Part of that meant firing back at ESPN Thursday night for picking the Blackhawks to win the series. All 12 of ESPN's analysts picked the Blackhawks to win the first-round Western Conference playoff series.

The Predators outscored the Blackhawks 13-3 in four games, becoming the first No. 8 seed ever to sweep a No. 1 seed in a first round series.

"Brackets. Busted," the Predators tweeted, along with a photo of ESPN's picks for the series.

"ESPN please stick to basketball and social issues because hockey isn't your thing," Gnash, the Predators mascot tweeted. "World Wide Leader in Sports my furry butt."

Nashville now battles the winner of the St. Louis Blues vs. Minnesota Wild series in the second round. The Blues hold a 3-1 series lead.
