West Virginia coach Bob Huggins went down to his knees due to chest pains during the first half of the Mountaineers' home game against Texas on Monday, but he returned to the bench in the second half.

Huggins told ESPN's Holly Rowe that his internal defibrillator "went off" and was causing him problems. Rowe also said that Huggins told his players he was fine.

ESPN's broadcast showed Huggins kneeling on the court and holding his chest during a timeout as Mountaineers players and staff summoned medical personnel.

Huggins, 63, had the defibrillator installed after a 2002 heart attack.
