COL BKB: Virginia 65, Miami (Fla.) 40

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Feb. 26 (UPI) -- London Perrantes put in a personal-best 15 points, including four 3-pointers, helping No. 11 Virginia pound Miami-Florida 65-40 Wednesday.

Perrantes went 5-of-5 overall from field and Malcolm Brodgon also netted 15 points for the Cavaliers (24-5, 15-1), who moved 1/2-game ahead in front of Syracuse in the conference standings.

Virginia will host the fourth-ranked Orange in a much-anticipated ACC showdown Saturday.

Erik Swoope netted 13 points for the Hurricanes (14-14, 5-10), who shot just 26.1 percent from the floor.

Rion Brown added 12.
