CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Leslie McDonald struck for 21 points Thursday and North Carolina staged a late flurry to overcome No. 6 Duke 74-66 for an eighth straight win.
Marcus Paige netted 13 points and James Michael McAdoo provided 10 with 10 rebounds for the Tar Heels (19-7, 9-4 ACC), who erased an 11-point deficit with an 18-6 run to end the game.

North Carolina held the Blue Devils without a field goal over the 9-minute stretch, defeating a ranked Duke team for the first time since 2003.
The Blue Devils (21-6, 10-4) were led by Jabari Parker with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Quinn Cook also netted 17 points and Rodney Hood added 16.
