WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Gary Harris and Adreian Payne combined for 48 points Thursday and No. 14 Michigan State rolled to a 94-79 Big Ten Conference win over Purdue.
Harris netted six 3-pointers en route to 25 points and Payne connected on four from long range, finishing with 23 points, as the Spartans (22-5, 11-3 Big Ten), which went 17-of-32 from beyond the arc overall.
Denzel Valentine provided 16 points, five rebounds and four assists for MSU, which grabbed a 1/2-game lead over Michigan atop the conference standings.
The Boilermakers (15-11, 5-8) got 19 points from Kendall Stephens.
