CHICAGO, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Fred VanVleet's 22 points Tuesday led third-ranked and undefeated Wichita State to an 88-74 win over Loyola-Chicago.
The win coupled with Syracuse's loss Tuesday left the Shockers (28-0, 15-0 MVC) as the only unbeaten team left in Div. I men's basketball.

VanVleet also had eight rebounds and Cleanthony Early scored 18 to reach the 1,000-point mark in his college career. Wichita State outrebounded their hosts 41-24 and was a sharp 31-for-34 from the free-throw line.
Milton Anthony scored 18 points to lead Loyola-Chicago (9-18, 4-11). The Ramblers lost their third consecutive game.
Wichita State took a 39-32 lead at halftime and held the Ramblers at arm's length in the second half.
