COL BKB: Texas 88, West Virginia 71

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Javan Felix led a balanced attack with 18 points Saturday, propelling No. 19 Texas to an 88-71 victory over West Virginia.

Cameron Ridley added 17 points and Isaiah Taylor scored 14 for the Longhorns (20-5, 9-3 Big 12), winners of two straight following a loss to Kansas State last week.

Demarcus Holland provided 11 points, seven assists and five rebounds and Jonathan Holmes pitched in with 11 points and seven rebounds for Texas.

The Mountaineers (15-11, 7-6) were paced by Eron Harris with 21 points.

Juwan Staten contributed 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
