COL BKB: Kansas State 74, Texas 57

MANHATTAN, Kan., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Marcus Foster erupted for a career-high 34 points Saturday, to help Kansas State beat No. 18 Texas 74-57.

The freshman drained 13-of-16 shots for the Wildcats (16-7, 6-4 Big 12), who picked up a 12th straight home win while ending a seven-game Longhorns' winning streak.

Will Spradling had nine points and four steals and Wesley Iwundu added eight points and a personal-best eight assists for KSU.

Texas (18-5, 7-3) lost the services of leading scorer Jonathan Holmes, who left the game with a right knee injury. Isaiah Taylor led the Longhorns with 17 points.
