LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Russ Smith led a balanced attack with 27 points Saturday and seventh-ranked Louisville breezed to an 87-70 victory over Central Florida.
Smith sank 9-of-14 from the field as the Cardinals (18-4, 7-2 AAC) bounced back from a 69-66 home loss to Cincinnati Thursday.

Luke Hancock (16 points), Montrezl Harrell (14) and Wayne Blackshear (10) also reached double figures for Louisville, which jumped off to a 12-1 advantage and never trailed.
The Golden Knights (9-10, 1-7) were led by Tristan Spurlock with 20 points.
