AMES, Iowa, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Melvin Ejim and Georges Niang combined for 38 points Saturday, propelling 17th-ranked Iowa State over Kansas State 81-75.
Ejim tallied 20 points with nine rebounds and Niang netted 18 points as the Cyclones (15-3, 3-3 Big 12) snapped a three-game losing streak.

Matt Thomas contributed 14 points.
The Wildcats (14-6, 4-3) were paced by Marcus Foster with 20 points and five rebounds.
Shane Southwell added 14 and seven for KSU.
